  1. What does the bucket in the story symbolise?
The bucket symbolises our feelings. When it’s full, we feel happy, loved and confident. When it’s empty, we feel sad or lonely.

What does “shrimp” mean in this story?
In the story, “shrimp” is a mean word used to call someone small or weak. It’s not very kind!

Can you give me an example of something that emptied Felix’s bucket and something that filled it?
Felix’s bucket got emptied when other kids laughed at him or ignored him. It got filled when someone said something nice or helped him feel included.

What can we do to fill someone else’s bucket?
We can fill someone’s bucket by being kind, helping them, smiling, or saying nice things.

    What happens when we do?
When we fill someone else’s bucket, we also fill our own — we feel happier too!
