- The surprising fact is that Elmi is left outside the cafe without any worries.
ReplyDelete- She really loves her daycare centre, it provides her both company and play. Her mother wouldn't be able to give them because her daily commute to her work in Helsinki.
- It's a free maternity package which contains early baby needs.
- She takes her nap outside, in the yard. Studies have shown that children who take a nap outside, sleep better, develop their immune system and grow closer to nature.
- I wouldn't definitely leave my child outside the cafe. Idiosyncrasy and social wise they are absolutely different form us, this behaviour doesn't make sense in our country and last but not least, draw parallels with their standard of living it also doesn't make sense, its GPD is much higher than ours.

I agree with you most completely. I was very surprised when I saw them leaving the baby outside shops, cafes... The nap in the garden also strikes me as strange...
But it's a different culture, I guess.
